About 2.5 miles (4km) west of Bray is a thickly wooded valley of great beauty, the Glen of the Dargle. A narrow pathway runs beside the River Dargle, a winding road follows the glen higher up, and the scenery alternates between wild grandeur and wooded beauty. A romantic feature is the Lover's Leap, a massive rock jutting out over the valley.
